I’m a software engineer so unfortunately I have to write alot in .net which isn’t quite *nix friendly, though my desktop of general work, every day use and some gaming is my Fedora box. One of the package handlers for that distro, like apt-get for the debian systems, has a GUI called Yumex which you might find significantly easier to use with dags reps installed.

Windows/ Linux users do sometimes answer only with, Don’t get a mac or Its your fault for getting a mac, etc… But then again you are gonna get unhelpful people everywhere

Canadain or American air force? cause if you come back to Canada to be in the air force.. we might just meet in Trenton. Ive been thinking about getting my pilots licence for a while as well, i even flew a small plane once with an instructor as soon as i get some more money im probably going to get some more lessons
